"Finally, from so little sleep and so much reading, her brain dried up and she went completely out of her mind."

2.5 stars This was a nice enough story but something kept me at a distance. Personally, I don't mind historical romances, but when they are told from the present I think it feels a little disconnected for me. I don't get as emotionally invested because everything already happened and it doesn't really matter because it all worked out. I had that problem here. While it was a sweet story, it just didn't hit me, and adding in some troubles just seemed to throw a wrench in on top of things to have them cheat on each other really didn't feel good, especially when we didn't get to see things resolved per so, just were told that it worked out. Then our MC says it happened again over the years? Umm, I think Harry probably should have dumped him.. It's a problem of telling, not showing.
