3.5 stars So, even though the guy in the pic looks like Ozzy, it definitely has a religious feel to it so I'm glad the author went that way with this story. Although I admit I got a little lost in the middle (where are they? why are they floating? why does he get to be mortal if he falls instead of going to hell, because he's gonna be Remy's guardian? how is there a picture of an immortal angel from 1954?), but it didn't really even matter. It was just a beautiful and unique story (although maybe a little sacrilegious) and I really enjoyed it. I liked the interesting variations on religious themes from the angels POV as compared to how we humans over time have interpreted things, and I loved that she incorporated "Love is always right". That was a nice touch.
